Scott was selected to Chair the Technical Committee for the planning and implementation of Deakin University's Motion Capture facility, developed in partnership with Multimedia Victoria.
For Scott, the initiative comprised a major refurbishment of an unused stage space, fly-tower upgrade, equipment recommendations for purchase and the initial management of Staff and Operations.
The facility is currently the largest Motion Capture Studio in Australia, earning a 2007 Vice-Chancellor's Award for Excellent Contributions to the University.

| Gold Coast Arts Centre - Lighting System Upgrade |

In 2000 Scott was the Designer & Project Manager of the lighting control upgrade which included a major overhaul of the ethernet and DMX infrastructures, substantial power upgrades, console purchase (Grand MA), off-line & remote access and the implementation of wireless control.
This initiative saw the first Grand MA in Australia installed to a permanent theatrical environment.
Scott was also involved in the development of the Arts Centre's Paradise Showroom performance space.
The Showroom now runs an MA console (MA Light), with seamless connectivity between the showroom and the main Lyric Theatre.

| Young People's Theatre - Theatre Rebuild |

For the Young People's Theatre Inc, Scott was instrumental in the rebuilding of the theatre after the venue was gutted by fire in 1995.
The theatre now houses a double-purchase fly system, Strand lighting control and a substantial patching infrastructure.

Scott is an accomplished drummer, having trained under Pat Charker (Robertson), Don Osborne and Al Vincer.

Scott was employed regularly as a Lighting Technician working on touring productions for the venue including: The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Paul Dainty), Tap Dogs (STC/Backrow Productions), Hot Shoe Shuffle (DAE), Coppelia (QB) & HMS Pinafore, The Mikado (Essgee) among others. In addition, Scott worked with regular users of the Civic Theatre and the Civic Playhouse such as Hunter Valley Theatre Company, Flying Teapot Theatre Company and Opera Hunter.
